Your specific responsibilities include overseeing field inspections, managing project development and environmental studies, performing engineering analysis, coordinating with partner agencies, and serving as a liaison with the public and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have the following required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge of scheduling and permitting processes, project development and environment study processes, applicable design standards, and various software/programs.
Skills in using Microstation, GEOPAK, and CAICE software.
Ability to analyze and compare engineering, environmental, and public input data, and comprehend and adhere to local, state, and federal engineering guidelines.
Licensure/registration/certification requirements include registration as a Professional Engineer as required in Chapter 471 Florida Statutes.
Other job-related requirements include responding before, during, and following emergency situations.
Minimum qualifications include registration as a Professional Engineer in accordance with Florida Statute 471 and one year of relevant post-registration experience.
