 
                                                
                                            This position is a support role for the Bureau of Community Planning and Growth, focusing primarily on the Special District Accountability Program. This position is expected to assist Special District Accountability Program staff with researching issues as it relates to Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, tracking special districts that are in noncompliance, maintaining the master list of special districts, and more. In addition, this position may be asked to prepare reports and assist the Bureau in keeping track of documents being routed throughout the Department.
Your specific responsibilities include maintaining special projects and other process tracking, preparing reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information, tracking documents, folders, reports, and other items, providing support to Bureau staff as needed, maintaining, monitoring, and developing project plans and project schedules, assisting Special District Accountability Program staff preparing invoices for the annual special district fee and following up on special districts failing to pay fees to the state's contracted collection agency, and other duties as assigned.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and coordination, demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively, ability to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently, and ability to perform basic administrative duties as needed.
Pay: $25.00 to $27.00 (depending on experience).
