Ops Government Analyst I - 64856915

This is a professional position responsible for assisting in evaluating licensees to ensure regulatory requirements are met and maintained, reviewing internal and external complaints as needed, reviewing data reports for accuracy, monitoring incoming data and reporting out findings, assisting with data cleanup projects. The employee is expected to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to prepare, provide, and deliver quality work products representative of the Department's commitment to quality, efficient services and patient safety. The employee will demonstrate attention to detail, confidentiality, and quality case review and document preparation, evidenced by accuracy, correct grammar and format, appropriate content, and timeliness.

Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of computer data bases; knowledge and use of the compliance management system and licensing system used by the Agency; knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government rules & regulations. Skill in reading and writing; investigating and researching; knowing how to find information and identifying essential information; finding ways to structure or classify multiple pieces of information; understand and interpret data reports; experience with data cleanup; using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches; organizational skills. Ability to understand sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; effectively manage time; communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; make sound judgments; interpret, understand and apply applicable rules, regulations and policies and procedures; ability to maintain strict confidentiality; ability to travel; ability to pass a thorough background investigation.

Associate of Arts degree or equivalent; AND 2 years of professional experience in reviewing or auditing documents; applying state and federal statutes, rules or policies and procedures; running and interpreting data reports; and data cleanup. Professional experience as describe above can substitute on a year for year basis for the required college education. A valid Driver's License, participation in direct deposit, satisfactorily complete a background investigation, and fingerprinting are requirements for employment.
