This is an intermediate level environmental specialist grants position. Utilizing knowledge of the statutes and regulations governing the resilient Florida program this position will: assist the grant management staff for the resilient Florida program in the office of resilience and coastal protection. Coordinate directly with other DEP staff, federal agencies, and local authorities to facilitate successful completion of grants and projects. Coordinate and report on status of projects through all phases including completion. Assist team leader with grants and projects assigned. Coordinate the review, approvals, and processing of administrative and technical aspects of assigned projects. This position will assist in the development and implementation of statewide measures to assist communities in completing vulnerability assessments and implementing adaptation projects. The position also coordinates with the other sections and program areas in the department in pursuit of the overall mission. Must maintain a valid driver's license. Performs other duties as assigned.
