 
                                                
                                            This is a professional OPS position in the CDC+ Program that is responsible for the monthly reconciliation of individual consumer accounts. Responsible for ensuring the creation and distribution of monthly budgets for existing consumers, including monthly reconciliation of consumer accounts. Responsible for reconciling the Agency requests for and receipt of Medicaid funds for the individual consumer's accounts for the Consumer Directed Care Plus (CDC+) Program. Identify and track all required Medicaid adjustments to the individual consumer accounts and to work with Program and Area Office staff as necessary. Monitor and accurately report consumer balances. Ensures the preparation and provides analysis of a variety of programmatic and fiscal monitoring reports. Develop and maintain necessary reconciling forms, processes guidelines, and operational procedures to reconcile the files sent and received for all Medicaid funds (including all paid, suspended, or denied claims). Prepare correspondence to consumer/representatives of any adjustments processed against the consumers accounts via email and/or letters. Prepare professional correspondence to consumers, representatives and consultants of CDC+ Participants ineligibility for Medicaid services via email and/or letters. Monitor activities on consumer statements looking for discrepancies and correcting as needed. Advises management on issues with AHCA's fiscal intermediary, the contractor subagent, program policies/processes related to CDC+ program and submits resolution if applicable to ensure the financial integrity of the Program. Designs and Implements modifications when necessary to achieve financial objectives with contracted provider and Agency IT. Ensure that an accurate comprehensive report of consumer monthly balances is compiled and prepared – to include all pending adjustments to be used by various APD staff including management. Plans and coordinates a response system/process to CDC+ consumers regarding financial issues. Assists program staff in writing CDC+ financial policies to satisfy federal rules and regulations. Consults with program staff and other financial staff to determine problem areas. Additional duties as required.
Must have two (2) years of experience with excel. Must have two (2) years experience writing professional correspondence. Must have two (2) years experience in financial reconciliation. Employees are responsible for and will safely retain all CDC+ consumers' PHI according to Agency guidelines.
