Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is located in the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Deputy Director of Support Operations office, under FHP HR management the incumbent in this position is responsible for performing a full range of assignments in a confidential capacity under limited supervision. This work includes conducting reviews and providing guidance regarding division personnel positions, related programs, conducting independent research and analysis in order to make organizational staffing recommendations to senior management. This position will be required to initiate and review personnel position related actions such as classification packets, hiring packets, reassignments, salary changes, and other changes for efficiency, consistency and compliance purposes, develop and maintain various databases, review, analyze and research personnel procedures, retention and other personnel matters.
