The Florida Department of Revenue's General Tax Administration Program collects the revenue that maintains the state's infrastructure, funds schools, protects the environment, and much more. The Department invites you to apply to become an essential member of our team. The incumbent researches and evaluates tax documents and information submitted for registration purposes, and communicates with taxpayers and their representatives, service centers, and other agency personnel. The incumbent also performs quality assurance reviews of registration applications, completes account maintenance tasks, and reviews forms processed within Account Management.
Minimum requirements include being currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue, one year of experience processing DR-1 applications, and one year of experience communicating with taxpayers via phone or correspondence.
The required work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mandatory overtime hours may occur during peak periods which may include weekends. The hiring salary for this position generally will not exceed $3,821.06 monthly/$45,852.72 annually.
