This is an advanced professional position. The primary duty of the employee(s) in the position(s) allocated to this class is to spend majority of the time measuring identified childcare programs, investigating potential abuse cases in licensed childcare programs and illegally operating programs identified by outside entities or persons. This employee(s) will also maintain a caseload of 25 childcare providers in Hillsborough County and will complete all assigned inspections from this caseload.
Supervise, plan and conduct onsite measurements, inspections and abuse investigations while working alongside CPI, Law Enforcement, Code Enforcement, Department of Health and other community partners and stakeholders, while conducting investigations of alleged abused, abandoned, neglected, or exploited children.
Childcare Experience preferred
Reliable and valid State of Florida Driver's License.
Must possess operational private vehicle for use in the performance of daily work activities. Selected applicants are required to provide proof of vehicle registration and documentation of the appropriate insurance coverage.
