Human Services Counselor III Ops

The Enterprise Information Specialist is a highly organized, forward-thinking, and professional position in the Enterprise Support Office. This position supports operational processes by ensuring that all correspondence requiring executive review and approval is appropriately identified, triaged, and distributed timely in the Document Production System (DPS). This position also supports critical decision-making by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and relevant records. Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate enterprise-wide information gathering projects.
  • Support the Enterprise Support Office in the implementation of operational processes to triage, assign, and track critical projects and correspondence in information systems or other required tools.
  • Review data and information collected by the Enterprise Support Office to produce analyses of trends, reports, and recommendations.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to keep leadership and program offices informed.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience monitoring and tracking project success.
  • Two years of experience collecting and organizing data into a logical format for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
  • Two years of experience collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience navigating Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of policies, procedures, laws and programs governing the agency.
  • Experience and knowledge of Department programs and related services.
  • An Associates Degree in business or social science related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, flexible, and responsive.
  • Knowledge of DCF programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternatives.
  • Ability to conduct fact finding research.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

This position will require night, weekend, and holiday work. It has also been designated as an essential position. Incumbents are expected to work during emergency situations or natural disasters and may be required to work before, during and beyond normal work hours/days.
