This is a highly responsible professional position located within the Bureau of Preparedness and Response, Administrative Preparedness Section, Grants Management Unit. The incumbent serves as a Grant Analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) and Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Cooperative Agreements.

Responsibilities include fiscal management, application development, budget meetings, corrections, healthcare coalition expenditure review, federal reporting, auditing, and ESF8.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include administrative principles, office procedures, data collection methods, effective communication, problem-solving techniques, independent work, coordination, and relationship building.

Qualifications include willingness to work during emergencies, current authorization to work in the United States, and preferred proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial information systems.
