Responsible for data analysis, tracking and reporting outcomes and the provision of technical assistance and consultation to supervisors and managers. Analyzes designs, documents and implements internal reporting systems and procedures for Investigations, some of which are used to evaluate operational effectiveness and efficiency. Works in tandem with the APS SunCoast (SCR) Program Office to provide monthly Performance Statistics locally and statewide, allowing a "check and balance" to ensure all reported is accurate. Acts as Data Representative for the SCR APS Management Team. Planning, evaluating, and monitoring technical assistance needs for Adult Protective Services staff throughout an eleven county region. Provides policy guidance; to include consultation, onsite analysis, and additional training, guidance, to operational staff. Ensures programmatic technical assistance is provided to field staff on an ongoing basis. Reviews proposed policies, procedures and rules and provides feedback to requestors, as appropriate. Monitors the protective investigation and protective supervision program components through both formal onsite monitoring visits, case record reviews and informal discussions with protective services field staff. Reports are developed for required corrective action at the operational level and review at region and state levels. Provides programmatic technical assistance to staff at case staffing's. Provides policy interpretation, consultation, onsite analysis, assistance in problem resolution, follow-up training, guidance, and direction to administrative staff, unit supervisors, and operational staff. Upon request, manages or assists in special projects, for either ongoing or one-time assignments. Responds to ad-hoc reporting requests and services as data liaison to other state agencies. Participates in quarterly quality assurance reviews for Adult Protective Investigations. Ensures semi-annual/monthly programmatic monitoring of direct service staff in areas of protective supervision, protective intervention, CCDA, and HCDA. to determine ongoing opportunities related to training. Provide consultative assistance to regional administration in analyzing and evaluating the results and effectiveness of all training provided and identifying unmet training needs. Responsible for data tracking and analysis related to both Pre-Service and In-Service training needs to include training needs assessments and surveys as well as budgetary responsibilities related to training. Complies statistics for a variety of required reports relating to protective investigations and responds to requests for information from other areas of the department and region. Service as liaison with the Florida Abuse Hotline Help Desk regarding problems encountered by staff in the ECMS System. Serves on or leads statewide work groups for program development. Attends regional, local and statewide meetings, conferences, workgroups, and training sessions as required. Provides policy interpretation, consultation, onsite analysis, assistance in problem resolution, follow-up training, guidance, and direction to administrative staff, unit supervisors, and operational staff. Reviews proposed policies, procedures and rules and provides feedback to requestors, as appropriate. Complete other related duties as directed.

Knowledge of Adult Protective Services law, policy, and procedures. Ability to conduct effective individual and group professional development activities for both new and experienced adult protective services staff. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with law enforcement, attorneys, health care providers, and other professionals, as well as elderly and disabled lay persons. Ability to effectively conduct individual, small group, and large group training activities with both professional and lay audiences.
