Serves as a Government Operations Consultant III through the application of extensive analytical and legal research, interpretive skills and techniques, and application of highly technical state and federal law. This position uses numerous investigative and informational sources/databases and completes extremely high liability work. Its entire focus is in support of Florida's sexual predator/offender program.
Specific duties include:
Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of law enforcement and the criminal justice system; knowledge of office procedures and practices; knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis; knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective verbal and written communication; knowledge of basic management principles and practice; ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow, and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices; ability to organize data into logical formats for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials; ability to conduct research; ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; and ability to prepare professional papers, research studies and evaluation and investigative reports.

Starting salary will be at the minimum of the class pay range, unless otherwise dictated by FDLE's pay policy. The elements of this selection process may include a work sample and/or interview. Future vacancies may be filled from this position advertisement.
