This position is located in the Division of Blind Services State Office in Tallahassee, Florida. This position will work under the direction of the Division of Blind Services' (DBS) Contracts Section Supervisor and the Bureau Chief. The incumbent will provide management consultative services in order to improve management capabilities and operational procedures; work with division management and their staff to promote the most efficient and effective accomplishment of the operating objectives at the lowest cost; provide assistance on state and federal reporting by researching and reporting on complex program issues, reviewing and reporting on accomplishments of the Contract's section, analyzing statistical information related to contractor performance and conducting surveys of DBS customers and partners.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study reasonably related to business administration, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, or contract management; or one to four years of professional and relevant experience in business administration, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, or contract management. Preference will be given to those with a bachelor's degree. A Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) designation is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with: a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university; one (1) to four (4) years' experience in business administration, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, or contract management; prior experience drafting, monitoring, managing, and tracking contracts; and a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) designation.
