The Florida PALM Project (the Project) is an enterprise project to replace the State of Florida's legacy accounting, payroll and cash management systems, using an enterprise resource planning solution. Four (4) or more years of Information Technology work experience is required. A postsecondary degree in a relevant discipline (i.e., Statistics, Computer Science, or related field) from an accredited college or university may be used as an alternative for the years of experience on a year-for-year basis.

Salary Range - $85,000.00 - $100,000.00. Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

This position assists in the execution of the Department of Financial Services' responsibilities for the Florida PALM Project, as a member of the Technical Readiness Team. This position serves as a state subject matter expert for planning and coordinating technical readiness activities to ensure stakeholder agency business systems and processes are prepared for the transition to Florida PALM. This position deals with complex policies and procedures associated with the implementation of a financial management solution (FMS). It requires technical knowledge of FLAIR and other Florida Financial Management Information System (FFMIS) subsystems and general knowledge regarding financial management practices and procedures.
This position exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This position provides consultation and expert advice to management and carries out major assignments independently. Incumbent duties include but are not limited to:
