This position will be used for multiple vacancies. This position is open competitive.

Your specific responsibilities include:

• Identifying potential issues that can affect an individual's entitlement to benefits.
• Ensuring that the workload is coordinated to maximize the issuance of first payments.
• Answering inquiries from claimants, employers, and other interested parties.
• Analyzing requests for reconsideration from initial determinations.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

• Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
• Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations.
• Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation.
• Ability to conduct fact-finding research.
• Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to effectively communicate through various methods.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Qualifications include:

• A Level 2 security background screening is required.

Pay: $20.70/hour.
