The Bureau of Health Facility Regulation seeks a self-motivated individual to serve as a Health Services and Facilities Consultant within the Assisted Living Unit.
The successful candidate will function as a member of a cooperative team that is responsible for the registration, licensure, and/or certification of various categories of health care facilities and will be responsible for providing information and technical assistance for all application matters pertaining to licensure and/or certification of assigned programs.

This is a full-time position for 40 hours each week. Hours are 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
This position will be filled at the rate of $1,833.39 Biweekly and is non-negotiable. A good attendance record is essential for any individual in this position as the work involved occurs daily and is time-critical. The individual in this position is expected to report to work daily and on time. Leave must be requested in advance except in emergency circumstances not under the control of the employee. This position has been identified as mission essential. The incumbent in this position may be required to work during the weekend or on holidays. In addition, mission essential personnel will be required to work during disasters, to include but not limited to, work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency work may involve the incumbent to work in another county or staffing location to assist other State Agencies with emergency work. Emergency duties may include, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. • Knowledge of program planning, program development and evaluation methodologies required for the initiation of new programs and licensure reforms.

Minimum Qualifications Requirements:
• Three (3) years of professional or nonprofessional health care licensure, regulation, and/or certification experience, or
• Two (2) years of professional experience relating to health care delivery or health care administration.
Preferences:
A bachelor's or advanced degree in a related field such as health care administration, health care planning, or other health, rehabilitation or social service program. Experience working as a licensed health care professional. Experience in technical writing. Experience in interpreting statutes and administrative rules.
