Customer Service Representative

The Florida Veterinary Referral Center (FVRC) in Estero, FL is hiring full-time or part-time Customer Service Representatives to join our outstanding team! We want every patient to receive the best medical care possible while communicating effectively with their owners every step of the way. FVRC is a fast-paced specialty/emergency hospital that is continuing to grow. We are in the process of expanding our CSR team to meet the needs of our community - come and grow your career in vet med with us. We have a variety of shifts available on weekdays and weekends. Compensation: Starting at $18/hr based on experience, plus an additional shift differential for nights and weekends! We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and a commitment to advancing their client service skills. We also need someone who possesses strong organizational skills with near impeccable attention to detail and an ability to engage in active problem-solving. At least 1-2 years of experience working in a Veterinary Specialty, Emergency, and/or a large high-volume day practice is required. Organized and comfortable with new technologies are a must. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is also important.

Responsibilities of a CSR include working closely with the medical staff facilitating exceptional communication. You will be the first point of contact for our clients establishing the excellent client care that is present throughout the hospital. You will manage a high call volume and multi-phone line system. You will process payments, refunds and cash handling. You will appropriately record information and maintain medical records. You will maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment and embrace the practice's core values, standards of care, mission statement and practice philosophy.
