What does this role look like?
• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Relevant experience working within the Systems Engineering Lifecycle.
• Experience supporting multiple projects concurrently in a systems engineering capacity.
• Direct experience managing requirements with DOORS, DOORS Next, JAMA, or other requirements database tool.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical drawings and documentation.
• Proficient with desktop software tools, in Facilities, Construction, and MILCON requirements development.
• You will need to be a US Citizen (no dual citizens), and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
• Self-starter with desire to learn.
• FBM Program experience.
• Experience with Cameo modeling and MBSE concepts.
• Basic understanding of Project Management.
• Knowledge of MILCON and FBM Sustainment Processes.
• Experience engaging with SPB/SPK government representatives.
• Knowledge of the SWFs and their building functions.

• Part-time remote telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
