This position is for a Systems Engineer on the F-35 Physical Maintenance Training Devices (PMTD) Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) Integrated Engineering line of business. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers to analyze, design, document, test, and sustain a suite of 5 different training products within the PMTD portfolio. The selected candidate must possess good communication and technical skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, write technical documents, and facilitate sub-system level testing within our Orlando labs. Occasionally, you may also be asked to travel to one of our customer sites for system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting with our products. Please Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance (not required to start).
You enjoy working in a team environment, solving technical problems, and delivering reliable, high-quality systems for real-world applications. You bring an understanding of system integration, system lifecycle processes, and are passionate about mission success. You are interested in expanding your technical acumen by getting more hands-on experience in developing Systems Engineering artifacts and/or performing Integration and Test on a system. You have some knowledge of military systems and missions based on your prior experience but want to learn different domains to expand your knowledge. The ideal candidate would also have a background or hands-on experience in hardware engineering (such as mechanical or electrical engineering).

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
