Sustainment Engineer

You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the Orlando & NAS Jacksonville ARWGS Depot Sustainment Team. Our team enables rapid, cost effective maintenance and repair of TSS WRAs by delivering end to end logistics support, forecasting depot demand, and ensuring the right parts are where they're needed, when they're needed. What You Will Be Doing As the Sustainment Engineer you will partner directly with repair engineers and the Repair Coordinator to translate monthly repair demand into actionable logistics plans. You'll own the data driven models that predict inventory needs, manage material procurement, and keep our depot's supply chain flowing smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining logistics forecasting models that align depot demand with inventory levels.
  • Analyzing monthly repair requirements, identifying shortfalls, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintaining and updating logistics databases (SAP, inventory control systems) with accurate, real-time information.
  • Procuring required materials, tracking purchase orders, and monitoring product flow from supplier to depot.
  • Providing direct, day to day support to the Repair Coordinator and engineering leads.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teammates to resolve supply issues and improve sustainment processes.
  • Preparing regular status reports and presenting key insights to leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with Lockheed Martin logistics policies and safety standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and Customer Service orientation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)
  • Support up to 10% travel
  • Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications to create purchase requirements and to extract data
  • Ability to review data and statuses and derive trends
  • Ability to prepare and accomplish presentations

Desired Skills:

  • Experience using AMS and Procurement applications
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment
  • Experience using SAP client applications
  • Previous TSS Experience
  • Experience using and prior access to CAV Tool
  • Experience working on contracts managed by NAVSUP and Crane
  • Active Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
