Support Engineering Data Specialist

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Support Engineering Data Specialist to partner with a global aerospace leader in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this full-time, 12-month consulting role, you'll play a critical part in transforming complex engineering and logistics data into actionable insights that drive aircraft reliability, maintainability, and operational excellence. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and sustainability of aerospace systems in the field.

As a Support Engineering Data Specialist, you'll analyze, interpret, and manage engineering and support data to develop integrated solutions that keep aircraft systems mission-ready. Your day-to-day will include:

• Interpreting and analyzing engineering, reliability, and supply chain data to develop support and provisioning solutions.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including maintenance procedures, inspection instructions, and illustrated parts breakdowns.
• Researching, evaluating, and validating source data for publication elements such as theory of operations, troubleshooting procedures, and schematic diagrams.
• Determining spares provisioning requirements and recommending spare and replacement parts levels.
• Supporting logistics and maintenance analysis to optimize aircraft operational performance and availability.
• Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and data authors to ensure accuracy and consistency in all technical outputs.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 3+ years).
• Experience interpreting and developing technical data for aerospace systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred qualifications:

• Proficiency in Arbortext, Adobe Pro X, Excel, Word, CITRIX, REDARS, and related Boeing software applications.
• Experience with AWACS Technical Data and use of Boeing and supplier engineering source data.
• Background in Communications Systems (preferred), Mission Systems, or Avionics Systems.
• Familiarity with logistics support analysis, maintenance task development, and technical publication authoring.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift (7 AM–4 PM)
• Starting Pay: $38.58 per hour

Pay details: $38.58 per hour
