ServiceNow Developer
This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month. Please note: This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
Technical Skills/Experience:
- Develop and enhance Service Catalog items, business rules, UI policies, and client/server scripts.
- Build automation workflows using Ansible and Terraform, triggered via ServiceNow orchestration.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to understand operational needs and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
- Maintain and optimize CMDB integrations and data accuracy.
- Ensure platform scalability, performance, and security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and admins.
- Integrate ServiceNow with infrastructure platforms (e.g., Cisco UCS, virtualization platforms, storage systems) to automate provisioning and lifecycle management.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in ServiceNow development (including scripting, workflows, and integrations).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and API capabilities.
- Experience with Cisco UCS, virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage systems.
- 3+ years' experience in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Solid scripting skills in JavaScript, PowerShell. Nice to have; Go or Golang.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB best practices.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
