Audit (per ISO 9001:2008/AS 9100:2009 standard) the performance of manufacturing and organizational level maintenance, repairs, or modifications IAW applicable procedures, blue prints, government directives, Technical Manuals (TM's), Aircraft Operation Sheets (AOS's), service manuals, and authorized depot level directives on systems. Evaluate servicing, pre and post flight inspections, launch and recovery activities. Manage Impoundment, Functional Check Flight and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Control programs. Generate and sustain project quality plan, aviation procedures, site reports, trend analysis, and metrics. Investigate customer complaints; generate/approve Corrective Action Plan (CAP) requests and follow-up audits. Review aircraft discrepancies daily for applicable root cause and corrective action opportunities (DRT).

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with considered career, or journey, level. Familiarity with applicable aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, DoD) is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to produce clear technical reports, metric dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.

Desired Skills: The candidate must demonstrate the ability to identify, develop, and implement process-improvement initiatives that align with Lockheed Martin, RMS, and RMS Sikorsky business objectives and key performance measurements. Experience conducting product-failure investigations, participating in Material Review Board (MRB) decisions, and implementing corrective-preventive actions (CAPA) is required. Effective collaboration across program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, supplier quality, and customer interfaces is mandatory to resolve quality-related issues. The applicant must be proficient in developing, tracking, and reporting quality metrics, including monthly CCAB (Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement) performance data. Strong technical evaluation skills are essential, including the ability to assess product requirements, specifications, designs, drawings, and procedures for compliance and manufacturability.
