Quality Engineer
You will be a Quality Engineer for the Sensors Integration and Test Center (SITC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products delivered to customers through electrical, optical, and mechanical assembly, integration, and testing. As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your quality engineering expertise to support the development and delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with integrated product teams to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive process improvements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to customers
- Analyzing and resolving process issues, and leading corrective action meetings to identify trends and assist in problem resolution
- Managing nonconforming hardware reviews, including dispositioning, identifying containment, and implementing effective root cause and corrective action
- Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001 / AS9100 requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- STEM degree at Bachelor level or above.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products.
- Experience doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.
- Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening, and technical writing.
Desired Skills:
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black belt certifications.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls.
- Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies.
- Knowledge and/or experience for working to the requirements of Industry recognized Quality Systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS) regulations.
