Gamble Plantation Historic State Park is looking for a self-motivated park service professional to fill an Ops Park Ranger position. The applicant must possess good visitor service and administrative skills, be willing to work independently and have the ability to perform a variety of skilled trade functions using assorted equipment and tools. The applicant must be willing to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a 40 hour a week position.

This antebellum mansion was home to Major Robert Gamble and headquarters of an extensive sugar plantation. In 1925, the house and 16 acres were saved by the United Daughters of the Confederacy and donated to the state. Guided tours of the house are given Thursday through Monday. The park is located in a suburb of Sarasota, Florida.
