 
                                                
                                            The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is seeking a Fisheries and Wildlife Biological Scientist III for the South Region Volunteer Program. This position is located in West Palm Beach, Florida, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our Regional Volunteer Program team. The Volunteer Program Biologist plays a key role in designing, planning, implementing, and monitoring conservation efforts that engage volunteers.
Responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and synthesis; coordination of volunteers for conservation projects; program development and administration; and effective communication and teamwork. Candidates must possess knowledge of Florida ecosystems, wildlife management practices, and conservation threats, as well as the ability to analyze biological data, manage multiple projects, and work with diverse teams. Travel is required, and the position works Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings.
