This position is located in Tallahassee, FL. The OPS Environmental Specialist II position, 37940240, is in the Division of Environmental Assessment and Restoration's Chemistry Program, LC Group, in Tallahassee. The duties of the incumbent involve analyzing environmental samples for pesticides, chemical tracers, cyanotoxins, PFAS, VOCs, and other related compounds or contaminants of interest to agency programs. This position is critical to satisfying ongoing demands for analyses necessary to support water quality impairment decisions and providing support for other customers, both within and outside the Department of Environmental Protection.
