Ops Distributed Computer Systems Analyst

Your specific responsibilities: Monitor service desk ticketing system ensuring that all customers' requests are responded to and resolved in a timely manner and maintain communications with customers throughout the problem resolution process. When appropriate, escalate problems following established procedures. Provide troubleshooting and technical support in person, via phone, Teams, and email. Support includes providing technical assistance to users, account administration, application support, and use of computer equipment. Set up computer equipment, manage computer accounts, and assist with equipment maintenance and repairs, including, but not limited to, computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and fax machines. Employee is expected to identify and meet the needs of customers to provide excellent customer service. Employee should be helpful, cooperative, polite, respectful, and concerned at all times when interacting with customers.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems. Knowledge and experience working with desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and Adobe. Ability to perform hardware and software troubleshooting. Skilled in the use of computer devices, mobile devices, printers, and scanners. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SharePoint. Ability to communicate information effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work both independently and in a team. Ability to determine and follow priorities. Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications: Minimum – Experience in IT support from either employment or school. Preferred – Degree in IT field of study; IT certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MTA.
