This position provides operational and clerical support within the Division of Motorist Services. The duties may include: daily distribution of mail and answering phone calls, daily filing of office documentation, greeting customers, compiling daily bank deposits, reviewing information for compliance purposes, typing, filing, scanning business documents, and using Microsoft Word, Excel and/or Outlook to compose correspondence, emails, and compile information.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position include knowledge of general office procedures and practices, knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook), skill in providing customer service to internal and external customers, ability to organize and maintain filing systems, ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, multi-line telephone, scanner, printer, Xerox machine, and facsimile, ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and assignments, skill communicating effectively verbally, and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Job related requirements include being 16 years of age or older. The selection process may include a skill assessment and/or oral interview, and applicants will be required to submit to a fingerprint-based background investigation, which will include a check of the criminal history records of the FBI.
