As an NPI Operations Program Manager you will be responsible for supporting small to mid-size programs through development and successful transition of new products to production manufacturing. This includes coordinating the involvement of Operations resources early in product development lifecycles to influence the design. Typical timing of engagement is Gate 2 to Gate 5. In this role you will participate in new business capture teams, development of Manufacturing Transition and Build Plans (MT&BP), proposals, guidance to cost estimating, establishment of baseline plans following contract award, and transition process responsibility including management of Operations functions in a matrixed environment. You will need to be well versed in the product life cycle development process and business systems that support product development and new product transition (i.e.: SAP MRP, Project Systems, PDM, MS Project). The ability to effectively lead high performance teams consistent with Collins Aerospace corporate and Operations Core Values (the "How" of performance), will be key to your success in this position. You should be proficient in the practical application of Lean/Six Sigma or APQP principles. The New Product Introduction environment provides opportunities to be involved early in the development cycle for new technologies and products, with direct responsibility for quality, cost, and schedule.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
