On-Premise Local Key Account Manager oversees sales, programming, and execution across high-value restaurant groups, bars, hotels, and entertainment venues. This role drives distribution, menu visibility, brand activation, and profitability for Pepin's full portfolio while conducting business reviews, developing account-specific programs, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, operators, and key beverage decision-makers.

Sales & Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts across restaurant groups, nightlife venues, hotels, and entertainment partners. Sell the full Pepin portfolio, including beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic options, and THC beverages. Conduct annual and quarterly business reviews outlining performance, opportunities, programming, and innovation. Drive distribution growth, new placements, and feature programming to meet brand and volume objectives. Achieve and uphold all retail and merchandising standards within assigned accounts. Secure menu features, cocktail placements, tap handles, and seasonal brand integrations. Track distribution, features, velocity, and competitive activity through reporting tools and KPIs, communicating key insights to management. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Programming & Execution

Develop and implement account-specific programs including promotions, menu placements, sampling events, and staff incentives. Ensure proper execution of all Pepin and supplier programs, brand standards, and activation requirements. Educate account staff on brand attributes, new products, and selling points. Manage POS needs, installation of permanent signage, and execution of available merchandising materials. Execute special events and marketing activations as assigned.

Communication & Coordination

Serve as the main contact between Pepin, supplier partners, and each assigned key account. Communicate all pertinent programming, pricing, and promotional information to sales leadership and internal teams. Work closely with the On-Premise Director and Market Managers to ensure alignment on strategies and goals. Provide detailed updates on account-specific opportunities, risks, and upcoming needs.

Administrative Duties

Maintain accurate account documentation, including notes, business reviews, programming recaps, and route information. Use reporting tools to identify gaps and opportunities within assigned accounts. Complete administrative responsibilities such as expense reports and required meetings, seminars, presentations, and trainings. Maintain the company vehicle and ensure compliance with all PDC employee handbook policies.

Requirements:

Previous experience in beverage sales, hospitality management, or On-Premise portfolio selling preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for business reviews and sales presentations. Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently deliver insights and recommendations. Clean driving record and ability to meet physical requirements including movement of packaged goods and POS. Retailer communication with team members regarding market execution. Submit trade expense reports by the monthly deadline. Monitor competitive promotional/pricing activities and report significant marketing strategies or beverage law violations to the President/On-Premise Director. Ability to learn new software and reporting tools. Strong work ethic with the desire to win in a competitive On-Premise environment.
