Mid-to-Senior Backend / Cloud Engineer / Node.js / AWS / Remote

Our client who is a startup in the entertainment space is looking for a backend Node.js / Cloud Engineer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup as they continue expanding the reach across North America. This will be a 1099 contract with ability to convert to FTE at as early as 6 months. This company provides accessibility for Spanish speakers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, to allow them to enjoy a movie theater experience. They are partnered with thousands of movie theaters currently and continue expand on that selection.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Working experience with Node.js and TypeScript for Microservice development.
• Experience with AWS and its suite of tools (Lambdas, EC2, Fargot, ECS)
• AWS networking experience (VPC, API Gate Way, Load Balancers, etc.)
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (CloudWatch preferred)

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience within the media/entertainment industry
• Experience within startup environments

What You Will Be Doing:

Tech Breakdown:

• ~50% backend development
• ~50% cloud/infrastructure

Daily Responsibilities:

• 100% Hands On
