Integration Subject Matter Expert (Sme)
Must have the following in order to apply:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ years of experience in system integration, with at least 5 years supporting government or defense programs
- Dod 8140 Iat Level Ii Compliant
- Minimum Comptia Security+ certification within 60 days of hire
- Proven experience with integration planning, execution, and verification of complex systems
- Active Top Secret Dod Security Clearance with ability to obtain Sci qualifications (Ts/Sci)
Preferred:
- Prior experience with C4/C5isr, Ew, Uxs, or other mission-critical defense systems
- Knowledge of Agile and Devsecops integration practices
- Vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with Dod Architecture Framework (Dodaf), Interface Control Documents (Icds), and relevant Mil-Stds
- Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in system integration

Job Description:
The Integration Subject Matter Expert (Sme) will provide advanced technical expertise, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to ensure the integration of complex systems within government programs. This role requires knowledge of multi-vendor integration, system architecture and testing methodologies. The Sme will collaborate with government stakeholders, program managers, engineers, and industry partners to design, plan, execute, and validate system integration activities, ensuring mission readiness and compliance with all applicable standards.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Planning and Strategy
- Develop and maintain integration plans, schedules, and roadmaps in coordination with government stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate integration risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance on integration approaches, architectures, and frameworks
- Advise on system interfaces, data exchange standards, and interoperability requirements
- System and Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with multiple vendors and subcontractors to integrate hardware, software, and network components into operational platforms
- Review and validate vendor integration documentation and deliverables
- Testing and Verification
- Develop and execute integration test procedures, ensuring compliance with government acceptance criteria
Work Environment:
Onsite at government facilities and/or contractor offices with occasional travel to test sites, customer locations or vendor locations. Primary work location is Tampa, Fl.
