Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to receive, plan, schedule & complete work projects involving various HVAC systems
  • Plan, organize & lay out work for routine & special projects regarding HVA systems & associated equipment
  • Regulate temperature levels for the facility within accepted comfort ranges
  • Work with independent contractors on various projects
  • Must be able to weld, braze & pipe fit units
  • Reclaim refrigerant & maintain logs as required by governing bodies
  • Must be able to use standard electrical & hand tools, refrigerant gauges, welding & brazing equipment in a safe & correct manner
  • Work from work orders, diagrams, manuals, schematics & supervisor instruction
  • Ability to perform & respond to all emergency situations
  • Assist with general maintenance when needed
  • Follow all safety rules & maintain work areas in a clean & orderly condition

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Must have five years minimum experience in HVAC field
  • Refrigerator and Appliance experience preferred
  • Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certificate preferred
  • Ability to interact with partners, residents, guests, and team members in a professional manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required
  • Work efforts reflect a passion for exceeding customer expectations
  • Solicite resident/family feedback to understand the needs of the resident and the community
  • Advocates for service excellence within the center and influences others to take action
  • Displays responsibility by taking ownership of quality care
