This position will contribute to the agency by serving as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls via the mainline console, providing accurate information, identifying caller needs, and routing calls accordingly. The successful candidate will have the following required knowledge, skills, and abilities: knowledge of general computer usage, office procedures and practices, administrative techniques, workplace etiquette and professional conduct; knowledge of mailroom operations, collecting and identifying data, grammar, punctuation, and spelling; skills in adaptability, attention to detail, critical thinking, time and organization management, team collaboration and leadership; and the ability to present a calm, happy, and professional demeanor, adhere to and implement instructions diligently, work independently with minimal supervision, and demonstrate respect for best practices, protocols, and policies.
Other job-related requirements include a driver license and a valid driving record in accordance with the Department's Driver's Record Requirements Policy.
