Government Operations Consultant III

The incumbent is expected to use independent judgment in coordination with other staff in identifying and establishing program policies and procedures for Rebuild Florida. Responsibilities include maintaining the CMS tracker, public record requests, briefing leadership on project activities, and field and track warranty claims related to Hurricane Irma. The position also requires providing assistance to DCD, responding to constituent concerns, and investigating issues to achieve fair results while following regulations.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include understanding HUD's CDBG-DR program, analyzing complex problems, meeting deadlines, proficient computer skills, excellent communication skills, analytical and critical thinking abilities, multitasking, prioritizing, managing time efficiently, working in both leadership and team-player roles, attention to detail, and problem-solving techniques.

Pay: $50,584.67 to $52,000.00 annually.

The work you will do: This is a Government Operations Consultant III position in the Office of Long-Term Resiliency. The incumbent is expected to use independent judgment in coordination with other staff in identifying and establishing program policies and procedures for Rebuild Florida.
