Position Overview

The Food Service Rep III plays a vital role in delivering quality food service to patients, guests, and staff while ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with menu selection based on preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Providing daily interaction with patients to enhance their experience.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
• Preparing food and drink items, assembling and delivering patient trays and catering events.
• Handling food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles and assisting with inventory management.
• Acting as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, hospital personnel, and Food & Nutrition Services.
• Providing training for new team members.
• Covering for the Food Service Coordinator as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Required: At least 6 months of experience in food services. Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Certification & Licensure: Preferred: Food Handler Certification.
