Food Service Aide

Overview UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital in affiliation with Select Medical Gainesville, FL Per Diem/Part-time - 1-2 shifts per week Shift Requirements: 6:00am to 2:30pm or 10:30am to 7:00pm (some weekends) Pay: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include: performing a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services. You will be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean up. You will provide quality work, show knowledge of the job, and demonstrate good decision making. You will be timely and efficient when preparing food, provide high quality food preparation and service, complete all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work, volunteer to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary, demonstrate reliability and dependability in your work, and operate equipment and perform related duties in a safe manner.

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes a high school diploma or equivalent experience and previous healthcare food service experience.
