Field Service Technician Opportunity

Our client has a brand new opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join their team supporting Daytona Beach, FL and provide unparalleled technical support. This Technician will travel within a radius of 125+ miles daily, depending on the area and specific route, and is required to have a valid driver's license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support clients IT/Data problem tasks, provide prompt action
• Deliver support and resolution for daily technical requirements
• Understand AC/DC and backup power concepts
• Manage triage, troubleshooting, and resolution to client scope on IT equipment
• Document efforts, issues and resolutions, close cases/tickets daily
• Complete all assigned projects and tasks

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of technical support experience
• A+ CompTIA certification preferred
• Net+ CompTIA certification is a plus
• Familiar with various operating systems (e.g., Windows OS, OSX, Linux/Unix)
• Insight to POS, PC, Printers, Thin Clients, APs, Servers, Network switch equipment
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Will occasionally work at heights of 20' to 25', lift equipment training provided

Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
