Devereux Florida provides programs and services for children and adolescents who face significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Located in Viera, FL, this position is responsible for:
Position Details:
Salary: Starts at $17.00 - $20.75 / hour PLUS additional compensation: Shift differential (up to $2.00 / hour). Relevant experience in field (up to $2.00 / hour). Credit for higher education ($.48/hr for Bachelors degree; $.72 / hr for Masters degree).
Shifts: Currently hiring for 2nd (2:30pm to 11:00pm) with limited 3rd shift availability (10:45pm - 7:15am). Must be able to work weekends. For full-time, you will be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays. For part-time, you will be required to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Must be able to work holidays.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work and experience in the field is preferred.
Experience: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), DSP, Direct Care, Behavior Technician with experience working with IDD, Mental Health and/or dually diagnosed populations preferred.
Schedule: Must be able to complete a two-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientation is held in Titusville. Must be able to work weekends. For full-time, you will be required to work Friday, Saturday and Sundays. For part-time, you will be required to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Must be able to work holidays.
Other Requirements: Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, Physical, and TB Test. Valid driver's license. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Must be able to drive a car and a passenger van (which holds up to 15 passengers). Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
