Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in assisting members with their financial needs, ensuring exceptional service, and promoting products and services that enhance their experience. Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members to identify their financial service needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining and strengthening member relationships.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, loan payments, account transfers, and withdrawals, with precision and efficiency.
  • Open and maintain accounts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Handle inquiries related to member accounts and credit union services with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Promote and recommend credit union products and services to meet member needs.
  • Perform outbound calls and respond to electronic member requests promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor cash drawer levels, balance transactions daily, and adhere to security protocols.
  • Assist in identifying fraudulent activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Participate in branch business development initiatives and outreach activities to support growth objectives.
  • Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Minimum of one to three years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
    • Prior experience with cash handling and account management is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn proprietary software systems.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel to other branches as needed.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address member inquiries effectively.
    • Commitment to teamwork and creating economic opportunities for underserved communities.
