The primary purpose of the Commissary Support Clerk is to perform a variety of store-level work associated with accounts and price maintenance for the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) facility. Responsibilities include performing basic account maintenance procedures to ensure files, logs, and reports are complete. Ensuring adequate stock and operating supplies are maintained. Operating computer systems to input or correct data, and produce documents, reports, shelf labels, and signs. Verifying receipts against invoices.

Qualifications:
You can use experience, education, or a combination of the two to qualify. Experience: One (1) year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position (general experience). OR Education: Two (2) full years of successfully completed education above high school at an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college, or university. Transcripts are required if relying on education, in whole or in part, to qualify. OR Combination of experience and education: To calculate the combination, divide your total months of experience by 12, then divide your semester hours by 60 and add the two percentages. If the total is 100%, you meet the minimum qualifications through a combination of experience and education.
Physical requirements:
(1) There is occasional walking, stooping, bending, and carrying and lifting of items without assistance (e.g. boxes of copier paper) weighing up to 25 pounds and stocking of light items. You will attest to your ability to perform these physical requirements in the Questionnaire.
