BI Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a BI Engineer to own and evolve all internal operational analytics systems. This is a hands-on individual contributor (IC) role with the opportunity to take on Agile leadership responsibilities (Scrum Master or Product Owner) within a highly collaborative Scrum environment. You'll be responsible for building dashboards, reports, and lightweight data pipelines to support operations across the organization. Own and manage all operational reporting systems. Design and build dashboards and reports using Power BI and Fabric. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights. Build and maintain lightweight ETL pipelines using Azure tools. Participate in Agile ceremonies and potentially take on a Scrum leadership role. Report directly to the Director of Product Management. Salary Range: 120k-150k.

Skills and Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience (Open to candidates who transitioned from engineering into BI)
• Azure SQL
• Power BI
• Microsoft Fabric
• Familiarity with ETL/data pipelining
• Experience in data science, AI, or machine learning
• Agile experience, especially as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
