The State Personnel System is an E-Verify employer. This position is in the Deputy Secretary's office within the Division of Health Quality Assurance. This position is under the direct supervision of the Assistant Deputy Secretary of HQA and provides services and support to the facility licensure function of the Agency.
This position will work with all the bureaus of the Division, but will work most closely with the Bureaus of Health Facility Regulation, Central Services, and Field Operations in systems management, data support, and training.
The incumbent will provide training in systems, policy development, data management, and quality assurance. Specific responsibilities and duties are as follows:

The individual in this position is expected to report to work daily and on time. Leave must be requested in advance except in emergency circumstances not under the control of the employee.

Knowledge of health care data systems and Agency health quality assurance programs. Knowledge of relational database systems, network connections. Knowledge of project management. Skilled in the operation of all Division applications and software. Ability to use ad hoc reporting software, e-mail, communications software. Ability to establish effective professional relationships with program, IT, industry and other groups. Ability to make written and oral communications clearly, concisely, and effectively.
One year of experience navigating data tables, pulling data from custom databases, and linking databases. One year of experience with creating system training manuals or maintaining policies and procedures. One year of experience in developing business and system processes through analysis, requirements gathering, and testing.
