Strategic Major Accounts Executive

Are you a self-motivated and experienced Strategic Major Accounts Executive looking to make an impact by selling innovative technology that helps solve crime? Flock is seeking to add a Major Accounts Executive to our growing Enterprise Public Sector team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving company growth by focusing on a single market, managing demand generation, building partnerships, and overseeing the full sales cycle.

This is a 100% remote field sales opportunity. Candidates must live local to this territory and requires regional travel up to 50% during peak seasons.

How you'll make an impact:

• Manage the entire sales process (prospecting, qualifying, positioning, closing, and supporting client onboarding) from beginning to close.
• Meet (or exceed) monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
• Start and nurture strong relationships with local law enforcement within your territory.
• Build a pipeline of leads across multiple verticals.

The Skillset:

• 7-10 years of full cycle sales experience, with an emphasis on outside/field enterprise software sales.
• Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.
• Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
• Able to quickly digest and learn technical products, and become the subject matter expert for your clients.
• Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
• Energized by solving customer's problems- e.g. consultative sales approach.
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, data-driven sales environment.
• Startup experience is a plus.

90 Days at Flock:

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired as a Paralegal at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days:

• Learn the market, understand existing customers, meet your peers, understand LE use cases, develop expertise in your industry in order to see success in your territory.
• Pass your Demo Certification to receive your Book of Accounts.
• Outbound activity outside of your normal required training and courses.

The First 60 Days:

• Build your territory and drive pipeline through outbound, LE referrals, and your territory.
• Join CSM calls, set up weekly 1:1s with Director, and other internal cross-functional bi-weekly meetings.
• In-person shadowing, creating 16+ opportunities, and close your first deal.

90 Days & Beyond:

• Maintain accurate forecasting, weekly and bi weekly checkins with your Director and cross-functional teams.
• Meet with a current customer for a ride along, a community liaison officer, and dispatcher.
• Complete meetings with net new logos.

The Interview Process:

1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you'll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are.
2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
3. The Hiring Manager Deep Dive Interview: You will meet with a hiring manager to further discuss your experience. This is your chance to highlight your past successes and learnings and alignment to our company values and growth.
4. The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
5. The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.

Salary & Equity:

In this role, you'll receive a total compensation of $375,000 with a defined variable comp plan; as well as stock options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
