Job Description

The Test Engineer will be part of a growing team that is responsible for working on and validating a wide array of customer products with specific focus on Automotive Infotainment Systems. In this role, you will be exposed to the latest technologies and cutting-edge products and protocols.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create test plans
    • Take customer definitions or industry standard specifications and create executable test plans
    • Perform black box and exploratory testing for complex technical systems
    • Evaluate high tech electronic products
  • Analyze and debug protocol traces
    • Analysis of protocol traces (specifically Wireless, Bluetooth, and WiFi)
  • Create and communicate technical reports
    • Creation of test reports for internal analysis
    • Creations of test reports for external customers
  • Build strong internal/external relationships with a focus on providing great solutions

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled or graduated students in the field of Electrical/Computer Engineering/Science
  • 2 - 5 years related work experience
  • Hands on experience with test and measurement tools including protocol analyzers and exercisers
  • Hands on ability to establish and demonstrate new technologies
  • Ability to take technical product features and clearly define test requirements
  • Team player with the ability to be an individual contributor
  • Ability to absorb customer requirements and work with team to meet customer needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, to set and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Passionate about electronics, system solutions and software
  • Testing experience with oscilloscopes is a plus
