Job Description

We seek an experienced and operational quality engineer who thrives in technical environments, production, and delivery processes. With us, you will be a central part of a professional environment working with complex mechatronic systems for military and government customers – where traceability, requirement understanding, and quality in all stages are decisive.

About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be a driving force in ensuring that our products, processes, and deliveries maintain the right quality – every time. The role is operational and cross-functional, and you will work closely with engineering, production, testing, logistics, service, and suppliers. You will have both responsibility and influence in an environment where processes are established, but improvement work is a natural part of everyday life.

You are a mature quality engineer who likes to be out where things actually happen, and who builds trust by combining professional weight with cooperation and structure. You are comfortable in technical environments and communicate clearly across roles and levels.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Operational quality work in projects and deliveries
• Defect management across the entire value chain (supplier, internal/production, test, and customer deliveries)
• Analysis, root cause work, and implementation of measures
• Follow-up of production and test processes to ensure compliance with requirements
• Contribute to quality management system work
• Quality support when introducing new products and changes to existing ones
• Interaction with engineering on design changes, risk, documentation, and verification
• Drive and support improvement initiatives across the organization

Who We Are Looking For

• Experience from operational quality work in technical/industrial environments
• Confident in defect management, root causes, and corrective actions
• Good understanding of quality management systems and the processes behind them
• Experience with new products, change control, and quality in development/transition phases
• Ability to work structured within established processes – but also to challenge and improve them
• Forward-looking, proactive, and collaborative
• Communicates clearly and creates good cooperation across

The position is located at Eggemoen outside Hønefoss. Some national and international travel as well as between Hvalstad (head office) and Eggemoen is expected.
