Co-op Opportunity – Customer & Technical Support

We are currently seeking a motivated co-op student from a maritime institute to join our Global Team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marine navigation systems, radar technology, and customer support operations within a dynamic and globally connected environment.

Key Learning Objectives

As a co-op student, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop foundational skills in customer support and technical troubleshooting within a maritime technology environment
  • Learn how to manage and resolve support cases using Salesforce - CRM, a leading customer relationship management tool
  • Gain hands-on experience with chart loading, software activation, and registration processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of internal documentation, including the FAQ and Knowledge Base
  • Understand how PAYS position reporting works
  • Participate in onboarding workflows and documentation for fleet retrofit projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build familiarity with ECDIS and other navigation systems
  • Learn about standard nautical publications and how they vary based on flag state requirements
  • Gain exposure to IMO implementation rules and regulations applicable to deep-sea vessels, enhancing your understanding of international maritime compliance
  • Strengthen your ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive and experienced team

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Co-Op program in a maritime institute or related technical program
  • Interest in marine electronics, navigation systems, and customer service.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic IT knowledge and familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience or coursework in marine technology is an asset.
  • Nautical Watch-keeping Certificate or prior customer service experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $34.600,00-$46.100,000
