Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Testing Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, this role involves responsibilities for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

Functional

• Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages.
• Develops instrument drivers.
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
• Develops test plans and procedures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test, test fixtures.
• Develops quotations for functional test hardware and software.

Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)

• Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles.
• Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Coordinates 3rd party development of ESS activities.

Systems & Software

• Analyzes and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
• Develops and/or modifies software or system level plans and tests.
• Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
• Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
• Performs test ability analysis (DFT).

The Experience We're Looking To Add To Our Team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics.
• Experience in similar position in manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English level.
• Test instrumentation experience.
• Experience developing/modifies test programs using various languages.
• Strong experience and knowledge using flying probe test system.
• Basic knowledge of Python of C/C++ scripting, familiarity with the MatLab and LabView test stand software platforms and other software skills such as Python.
