The job includes supplier quality development in a manufacturing or service process. It also involves working closely with suppliers to improve performance, implement process controls, and develop quality assurance plans.

Your main tasks will be:

• Participating in the selection of appropriate suppliers, considering quality, pricing, delivery, environmental regulations, and local regulations, in collaboration with the purchasing department.
• Evaluating new suppliers, conducting supplier risk analysis, supplier self-assessment, on-site qualification audits, and managing the supplier qualification database.
• Understanding customer drawings and specifications to provide engineering proposals that add value to the customer and supplier to optimize the supplier's manufacturing process or products.
• Conducting the approval process (PPAP)/first article inspection (FAI) as part of the material qualification process.
• Monitoring the quality of newly qualified products to ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Managing supplier corrective actions during the introduction phase and ensuring smooth transition to mass production.
• Encouraging supplier corrective actions during product introduction and transitioning to mass production.
• Supporting suppliers with current quality issues and troubleshooting as a subject matter expert (SME).
• Supporting suppliers within the continuous improvement program (CIP) to improve quality assurance tools, manufacturing processes, and product quality.

The knowledge and skills required for this position include:

• University or college degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electronics, mechanics, or quality assurance engineering in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good communication skills in both English and Hungarian, both verbally and in writing.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Learnability and proactive approach.
